Your CDs are Great! I received them a week ago and
listened
to them
during the week. Then I went out and played 9 holes
at a course on which I normally shoot 44-46.
But this time I shot a 39! Wow, that was great!
By following what you teach I got my FOCUS
and got rid of the CHATTER and Distractions.
Thank You! Wish I had Own The Zone years ago.
Now I will truly enjoy the game much more.

Stay The Course
By Jennifer Scott, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist
Is it difficult for you to "stay the course?" If it is, perhaps you haven’t stayed with "Own The Zone™" long enough to get the results you want. After all, professionals work months and months on swing changes before they’re “grooved.” This month my Mental Tip is dedicated to encouraging you to hang in with the program.
Maybe this story will inspire you:
| Hi Jennifer: just thought I'd drop you a line or two. I purchased your "Own The Zone" golf CD earlier this year and in the beginning I was very skeptical about the validity of same.
HOWEVER....I must say I am now a true believer in mind-over-matter issues you talk about in the CD. I must have listened to the CD's 50 times & I now go to the golf course with a totally new & improved attitude. I admit that I don't practice the self-hypnosis every day, but I have to say it really is an inspiration to me on the golf course.
I never would have believed it but my handicap has gone from a steady 11-12 all my life to a nifty 8.....all in the space of 5 months. I am really "there" for each shot....I don't get tooooo upset over bad shots & am usually able to recover physically & mentally in very short order. I thank you for this.

Staying with Own The Zone pays off. Here's another inspiring story:
| Just as in the physical game, the mental part is oh so important.
Practice, practice , practice! It finally paid off. I shot my best round ever, a 77 ! Twenty-six putts, 10 up & downs, 10 fairways, 8 greens.... and I broke 90 the day before, with an 87.
Peace , Harmony, Relax, Relax. It keeps my negative thoughts out, helping me to stay focused through the swing.
Yes, I became inconsistent for a time not using what you taught me, and the scores stayed the same or worse. Now I'm hooked.
I heard Curtis Strange once say during a telecast that " Golf is 90 percent mental,.... and the rest of it is in your head." My mind and focus has been better lately than ever, THANKS AGAIN! MK Petaluma, CA |
So many of you expect instant success. Instant gratification. But that's not what training the inner mind is about. Just as you go to the gym regularly to exercise your physical muscles, you also need to exercise those inner muscles regularly, too - that is if you want real changes in your game. Of course, the bonus is that those changes will happen in you life as well.
So Stay The Course.....the rewards will be great.
